To order stickers to identify purchases you have made through the School LAND Trust Program, Click HereThe members of the Naples School Land Trust Committee agreed that, in order to use the school's 2003-2004 School Land Trust to best support our ongoing goal of improving students' reading/language arts skills, we will purchase books and supplies to further support the implementation of balanced literacy. These purchases will include additional books and materials for the school's leveled library, leveled books and language arts materials for classrooms, and resource books to help teachers implement research-based reading and writing instructional strategies. Our goal is that each Naples School student will experience at least one year's academic growth in the area of reading/language arts during the 2003-2004 school year. Academic growth will be measured by analyzing running records and state- and district-mandated end-of-level tests.

Naples School students have shown progress in the area of reading/language arts. Teachers have assessed student progress by using a variety of measures, including informal reading inventories, running records, DIBELS assessment tool, oral reading fluency checks, writing rubrics, and other measures. We will analyze Utah State Core Assessment results to determine whether or not individual students have met the goal of experiencing at least one year 4. Financial Report
