Job Descriptions and Tasks

School Community Council members are often willing volunteers who care about the success of students and overall school improvement. In the process of encouraging parents and school employees to participate on the School Community Council, the expectations or job descriptions of Council members may not be described. Once a member accepts the assignment they want to know what they are expected to do. The suggested lists provided here are to give a member an outline of what they can do to promote the effective work councils should be engaged in. Some lists include required tasks.
