Other School Plans
The five plans the school community council, or its subcommittees, develop are listed here. Councils should carefully study school and grade test scores and collect input from teachers, parents and the principal before reviewing a multi-year plan or beginning to develop a new plan. All schools are required to have the first three plans on the list. Please note that the professional development plan and reading achievement plan are often included in the school improvement plan.
- School Improvement Plan (the overall vision of where the school plans to go)
- School LAND Trust Plan (an academic component of the School Improvement Plan)
- Professional Development Plan
- Reading Achievement Plan (Elementary Schools only)
- Child Access Routing Plan (Elementary, Middle, Intermediate, and Jr. High Schools only)
